DESCRIPTION
The Calabretta wines from Etna are distinct in that they only release the wines into the market after extended aging ( 6-8yrs) in cask and bottle. The 2016 has an intense ruby red color. The nose displays an elegant bouquet of chamomile flowers and aromatic herbs with delicate mineral notes. The palate is generous and powerful with ripe tannins that help create a persistent finish.Â
