DESCRIPTION
Unculín is a Vino de Villa wine from over 80 different organically-grown, family-owned small plots in the village of Valtuille de Abajo. Their cuvée Unculín is a fresh, energetic red Bierzo. This blend consists of 85% Mencía with Garnacha, Palomino, and Merenzao rounding it out. Aged 4 months on the lees in stainless steel, ‘Unculin’ show flavours of rustic red berries, and dark plum. Suggested pairings include cured sausage and hearty stews.
