DESCRIPTION
The Merlot wines used in this blend were sourced from Alexander Valley from high elevation vineyards bringing tension and power. The wine is purple in color with aromas of black plum, crushed blackberries, slate/ rock, anise, black licorice. On the palate, savory graphite, black tea, black currant, red cherry, and smooth tannins are balanced with bright acidity. Suggested pairings include grilled red meat, lamb stew, and pot roast.Â
