DESCRIPTION
The grapes grown in Vaillons, meaning 'little valley', are planted on the upper part of the south-eastern facing hill, on Kimmeridgien Marl. Known for extended lees aging, the 2011 shows rich complexity. It features notes of preserved lemon, white flowers, and flint, with high acidity and a rich, honeyed texture from extended, stainless-steel-only aging. It is a powerful, complex wine.Â
