Evening with Winemaker Peter Merriam of Merriam Vineyards

There is something uniquely New England about Peter Merriam’s approach to winemaking: it is rooted in grit, conservation, and a deep respect for the land. A true native, Peter’s journey began in the western mountains of Maine and led him through New Hampshire and Boxford, MA, where he raised his family. But in 2000, Peter and his wife Diana followed a decades-long passion for the vine across the country to found Merriam Vineyards.

Today, Peter is a world-class winemaker, but he hasn't lost his New England soul. Drawing on twenty years of experience in the wine retail world, he has built an estate defined by high-quality, small-production bottles and a fierce commitment to sustainable and organic farming. Join us for an intimate evening as we welcome Peter 'home' to share the stories and the spectacular wines that have made Merriam Vineyards a California standout.
